• Correlation: Middle part of Uwa Formation

• Sedimentary facies: Terrestrial
• Lithofacies: Sands and gravels
• Lithofacies (Minor): Silt, Sands

• Thickness: 29 m or thicker
• Lower limit: Unconformity (Togano Unit (as Iwaki Formation))

• Distribution: Ino, Seiyo city, Ehime pref.
• Tephra: Inou Volcanic Ash (141 ka?)
