• Thickness: 20 - 150 m
• Upper limit: Bottom of the thick sandstone bed or the sandstone-conglomerate dominant horizon
• Upper limit: Conformity (Kichiyasu Sandstone, Mudstone and Conglomerate Member)
• Lower limit: Bottom of the horizon including thick sandstone and conglomerate beds
• Lower limit: Conformity, partly Transitional (Shimoisawa Mudstone Member)
