• Sedimentary facies (Lower): Fluvial
• Lithofacies (Upper): Loam
• Lithofacies (Lower): Gravels, Sands
• Sedimentary structures (Lower): Imbrication, Parallel stratification, Trough cross-stratfication

• Thickness (Upper): 1.5 - 2.6 m
• Thickness (Lower): 2.5 m or thicker
• Upper limit: Conformity (Tawara Loam)

• Distribution: Ishizue, Takanezawa city, Shioya county, Tochigi pref.; Ashinuma town - Imazato town, Utsunomiya city, Tochigi pref.; Tagawa river, Tokujiro town - Yokoyama town, Utsunomiya city, Tochigi pref.; Kaminokawa city, Kawachi county, Tochigi pref.
