Overview

Vegetation at the boundary between Cool-temperate climate and Subarctic climate where deciduous trees are mixed with confers, although beeches (Fagus sp.) are usually dominant. Tilia sp., not Fagus sp., and/or conifers such as Jezo spruces (Picea jezoensis) are mixed.
